We are a growing church of over 2,000 who is inviting to those who are turning to God. Chestnut Ridge Church is seeking a full-time Technical Director.  You will join a dynamic staff team in a grace-filled environment, with a heart to reach people who are turning to God.

 

The Technical Director will have strong relational, leadership, team building, systems development, discernment and organizational skills, and is responsible for providing leadership, vision, direction, support, and development for the AVL and production for CRC and their volunteer leaders. You will be a part of helping to lead people into a growing relationship with God and others.

 

Chestnut Ridge Church is located in the educational, commercial, medical and cultural hub of north-central West Virginia. Located just over an hour south of Pittsburgh, and  three to four hours west of the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. area, Morgantown, West Virginia, offers its residents access to rivers, mountains, lakes, hiking trails, bike paths, golf courses, and to some of the best schools, hospitals, and job opportunities in the nation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Must have refined skills and extensive experience in audio engineering and experience. 

  • Knowledge of Avid Venue series a plus

  • Knowledge of video producing/editing a plus

  • Knowledge of theatrical lighting systems, projection systems, and IMAG is a plus

  • Knowledge of IT Systems/Networking a plus

  • Broad understanding of Pro Presenter, Adobe Premier Pro, Planning Center Online, and CCB a plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as an ambassador for CRC by positively reflecting the vision, mission, strategy and values to those inside and outside our walls

  • Be able to assess and advise attenders and volunteers as to how and where they can take their next steps towards God and within the ministry

  • Recruit, train, and lead a volunteer team of qualified sound engineers and lighting/media techs for all environments:

  1. Main auditorium  

  2. Medium  sized events

  3. Other weekend environments  

  • Design, implement and maintain technical systems for a variety of environments  [e.g. audio, lighting, media, IMAG]     

  • Involvement in filming and/or editing videos of personal interest, baptism stories and announcements
