Job Description:  To provide direction for the kidzCRIB Ministry through vision casting, leadership and oversight, with the goal of overseeing one of the hours of kidzCRIB each week after an assistant is hired.

Duties:

• Oversee scheduling needs for all services; be available as needed to fill in open scheduling positions; Effectively communicate with volunteer staff regarding scheduling needs and changes
• Oversee recruitment of new volunteers; responsible for application and background check information for those who are actively involved serving and interview process of new volunteers
• Provide adequate vision casting and training to all volunteers
• Field all phone calls regarding the kidzCRIB ministry from tear-off panels and other contact pieces
• Oversee regular cleaning and maintenance of all kidzCRIB equipment.
• Monitor and purchase necessary kidzCRIB supplies and equipment from approved budget
• Maintain accurate records of special needs/allergies of children in kidzCRIB ministry
• Assist in planning volunteer recognitions, twice a year, with the other children’s ministry directors’ and pastor
• Propose and oversee yearly department budget.
• Oversee purchases of all equipment and supplies.
• Periodic evaluation of the effectiveness of the kidzCRIB Ministry
• Provide Children’s Pastor with accurate list of current volunteers with contact information when requested
• Attend scheduled Children’s Ministry Director’s Meetings
• All other duties as assigned by Children’s Pastor
• Be in the process of replacing yourself (teaching someone else how to do what you do).
